What usually decides the specification
Colour fidelity comes first
Where artwork or artefacts are reproduced, the substrate matters as much as the file. Coated surfaces hold fine detail and deep tone.
Low-odour install in occupied buildings
Galleries are often installing while open. Discuss ink set and dry-down with your print provider so the space is usable quickly.
Clean removal from historic surfaces
Nonwoven media is chosen here because it lifts in whole panels rather than tearing plaster or original finishes.
Lighting
Raking gallery light shows every seam and every roller mark, so plan panel layout with the lighting design.
